Remarks | This was amazing!! I have never seen anything like this in my life! It was like a shooting star on steroids. It was close, felt as big as the moon with a massive trail. It was glowing and changing colors bright blue, orange/red and yellow. Then to hear the double boom. What was that?! We were backpacking in the Enchantments near Leavenworth, WA so the stars were incredibly bright. No city lights. No campfires. We were camping up above the lakeshore looking over the lake in the evening. so you can imagine our surprise when this came over the lake , literally from ridge to ridge very low in the sky. We were all yelling and freaking out - then heard the double boom/vibration. It was incredibly awesome! Surreal and so glad to have seen it. I'm grateful that I could find out about it on your website. |
