Remarks | I heard the meteor hit and saw the glow of shock waves, hearing the impact within a second or two of seeing the glow. So I know it hit the ground. As I\'ve tried to note, I was about 20-30 miles outside of Springfield on the Mass Pike. I first saw the bright light in the upper part of my windshield and it was quite a bright green. The moon was still very visible, and the object was much brighter. |
Terminal flash | |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Saw most of a half circle of light, so it must have been near the turnpike.... like within a mile or so. There should be some sort of crater or disturbance. |
