Remarks my wife and I have lived out here in Hardee county for 18 years. I have a 17.5 inch Dob and I have enjoyed many nights out in the pasture either with binocs and or my scope and I have seen some beautiful sights. I have seen meteors before but never one that lit up the pasrtue like this one. I was sure that the news would have mentioned it the following morning, but no mention was made. I am not a professional person, just a 71 year old drywall hanger and I love the night sky, which is part of the reason we moved out here 18 years ago from Bradenton, Fl., 52 miles west from here. Hardee county is one of the few astronomicaly dark sky countys in the state. Thankyou for letting me be a part of sharing my experience with you.
