Remarks It was pretty amazing! I'm pretty sure my daughter and I heard it because we looked up and to the left at the same time. We would have been looking straight ahead at the pier, as it was really the only visible object on the beach. At first I thought it was a firework like a bottle rocket, but the sound didn't have as much force as a bottle rocket would make when launched. Closer to the sound from a Roman candle from a distance. We watched and waited for it to pop or explode and it just kept going. My 10 year old said it was a shooting star, and I felt like it was too low and slow to be that. It was also really round on the front and very bright. It was moving faster than any plane or jet that we see on a regular basis right along the beach. We both were looking at the horizon off to the right of the pier wondering if there was about to be visible impact of some sort. Too many movies I guess. Hope this info can be of help. Happy to answer any questions on the phone to help with the tracking. Don't think I'll ever forget right where we we standing when it happened.
