Remarks I was driving home from work heading east on University Avenue, Rochester NY when I saw what appeared to be a meteor to the northeast. At first I thought it was some sort of fireworks but there are none locally tonight that I know of. It was traveling in a downward angle very fast with what appeared to be sparkles/glitter behind it then it's head turned bright green before I lost sight of it behind buildings. It was only 1-2 seconds. I have never personally seen close to earth meteors but have seen news videos. It looked like them. If it wasn't a meteor it must have been fireworks or some other burning object.
