Remarks | This was the 2nd meteor I've seen in the same area in the past 3 days - 1st one was Monday, May 30 and then the one today June 2; both mostly headed in the same direction. First one appeared to be brighter, but by the time I saw it was right before it went out. I asked others to see it but by the time they looked up it had disappeared. Both were green in color, but the first one was a lighter-brighter shade. Both meteors were sighted around the same time of the evening - between 8 and 9:00 p.m. Not sure about the measurements I entered, not that experienced in numbers; just a sky gazer. Had an Astronomy class and found it very interesting and although over 20 years ago - there are familiar parts I see in the sky and understand better. |
