Reports Report 1346a (Event 1346-2017)

Observer
Name Rachel C
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks My location and trajectory details are super sketchy. I was on the road at night in an unfamiliar area of RURAL Louisiana. But I was driving along, listening to music (would have drowned out any associated noise) and I saw this bright green light shoot earthward. It had a tail (in that it was a streak of light, no flames or sparks), but I think it flashed out of existence before it reached the treeline (view). Even my time recording is sketchy because I was super tired and stressed because I was taking my son home from the ER after having to drive an hour to get him from camp (he was asleep and missed it, darnit). I've never seen anything like this before. It was beautiful and honestly, a little scary, which is kind of dumb, I guess. The only thing I can imagine it being is a meteorite. And I am super mad that apparently, nobody else saw it! Ugh!
