Remarks | Was in a public parking lot, so ambient light present plus moon-lit sky. Initial light blue flash lit-up sky, turned around to see fireball (fireball was just a fraction of a second). 1 person I was with witnessed the flash before the fireball but did not turn around. 2 other strangers individually came up and talked with us about the event. Both had witnessed it in full as they were facing it. Very low on the horizon. I was facing E-SE, and the tail of the streak was going towards the horizon, very low angle and close to horizon, just above the building, 1 story high. |
