Delayed Sound
Observation No
Remarks I was driving around 75mph at the time, but rolled my window down anyway, in hopes of hearing a blast. I was unable to hear anything I could associate with the fireball after listening for approx 30 seconds.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 2s
Length
Remarks After the initial flash, there was a nimbus of red/orange with a deep green flare in the middle. At least five trails led from the blast, gradually turning to white/yellow until they faded away. It was very remarkable in its display of colors.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks My eye caught an initial streak in my field of view, so I was able to see the initial flash of the fireball. It broke into a widely scattered field of debris with a green flare. At least five major trails led from the location of the initial flash.
