By the time I saw the meteor it was moving like a low jet plane crossing the freeway for a landing maybe a mile in front of me. It was up close and personal.

I first saw a long bright tail slowly moving south to north. As the leading tip seem like it was going to land in the center of downtown New Braunfels the meteor the best I can described it, sputtered off 3 to 4 sparks then faded to nothing.
