Remarks | I was sitting on my coach watching TV and noticed a very bright light streaking in the sky outside our front window, traveling in a straight line downward and away from my position, and progressively getting dimmer in magnitude until it faded to where I could no longer see it. I am an amateur astronomer and have seen many hundreds of metoers in my lifetime. For me to see this while viewing it from my living room, with all the ambient lighting, and my eyes not adapted for night vision - this meteor had to be a fireball quality event - I hope you get more reports fro my area. I have never seen anything like it. |
