Remarks | I have never seen any thing like this in the sky, day or night. I have seen meteor showers at night, but nothing like this. The meteor appeared in the eastern sky and burned down and to the north. It appeared to burn out before it reached the horizon line. My first thought was that this might be space junk burning through the atmosphere, but then I thought it had to be a meteor to burn that bright. It looked like something out of a Hollywood movie. Real cool !! |
