Remarks I saw my first fireball sometime in the winter of 2015 (I believe in December) and I reported it to this website as an enthusiast of science. I had a perfect view last year; it was in plain sight in a clear, open sky and I saw the fireball for its entire duration. The fireball I saw last night (Nov 1st 2016 at 8:15pm) was out of my car window, and my friend and I caught a brief glimpse of it. It was obscured by buildings we only saw it momentarily. His girlfriend called us literally seconds after it happened because she saw it too, and his phone call history has her phone call at 8:15pm. I saw many other people reported seeing this fireball along the east coast of the US and in Ontario, Canada. I decided to report my sighting as well, although it was a brief and obscured. My first sighting of a fireball (winter 2015) was much more impressive.
